Trentino remain the best world team. “It was an incredible final. Both teams played on a very high level“, said Matey Kaziyski after the victory over Jastrzebie in the final match.

There were (again) no opponent who could beat Italian champions during the World Club Championship in Qatar. Trentino beat Jastrzebie in final match 3:1. “Unfortunately we weren’t able to win this final, but we’ve have shown some real quality volleyball in the two matches before,” commented Lorenzo Bernardi.

Matey Kaziyski was not 100% satisfied with the beginning of thematch – “The first set was a little difficult for us, but we realised we were really close and that if we would push just a little more we would be able to win the match. And we did! We have participated in this champiomship for several years now, and we are looking forward to return next year.

Trentino Diatec Trento Coach Radostin Stoytchev: “Obviously I’m very happy with this victory. It’s an honour to win this championship for the third time. The whole team and management have really deserved this.”
