The regular season is over. The playoffs quarter finals are now known. Loreto lost 3-0 in Macerata, which means that Forli stays up thanks to its 3-0 victory over Vibo Valentia.

Just like in the first meeting, Forli came out on top against Vibo and earned its place in the A1 for next season. It has not been an easy week for Forli but it showed great composure in the clutch time.

Treviso won its last home game 3-1 against Latina and grabbed third place, which means it will face Monza in the playoffs quarter-finals.
LUBE BANCA MARCHE MACERATA – ESSE-TI CARILO LORETO 3:0
Macerata swept Loreto in the derby and sent Loreto in the second division. Macerata stays fifth in the table and will meet Modena in the playoffs quarter-finals. Stankovic scored 18 points (5 blocks) and was named MVP.
RPA-LUIGIBACCHI.IT PERUGIA – ITAS DIATEC TRENTINO 3:1
In its last game of the season, Perugia offered its fans a nice victory over the regular season champions, Trentino. Coach Stoytchev rested its usual starting six, while Perugia lined up all its starters in order to get ready for the Challenge Cup Final Four, which will be played next week.
ARAN CUCINE ABRUZZO PINETO – TRENKWALDER MODENA 0:3
Modena easily got rid of a generous Pineto team, which played its last game in the A1. Angel Dennis MVP.
BRE BANCA LANNUTTI CUNEO – PRISMA TARANTO 3:1
Cuneo’s regular season came to an end with a 3-1 victory over Taranto and the second place. Simone Parodi scored 17 points, with 54% in attack and was named MVP of the encounter. Cuneo will now start to prepare the Cev Cup Final Four, in which it will face Piacenza in the semi final in Maseeik (Belgium). Meanwhile, in the playoffs quarter finals, it will meet…Piacenza.
ACQUA PARADISO MONZA – COPRATLANTIDE PIACENZA 2:3
Monza’s brilliant run came to a halt against the Italian champions, Piacenza. MVP Urnaut showed the way, but coach Lorenzetti was also very inspired when he sent Oivanen in the fourth set.
