Iraklis Thessalonikis will face Noliko for the CEV Volleyball Champions League without the Cuban star Rolando Despainge.

PAOK Thessalonikis had easily won 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-22) over EAPatron in Thessaloniki in the first game of 12th round on Friday. For PAOK Apostolos Armenakis scored 20 and Ivan Borovnjan 16 points.
On Saturday’s games Iraklis drop a point to Aris by winning 3-2 (23-25, 29-27, 25-14, 24-26, 15-11). The home team started without Kostas Xristofidelis and Theodoros Bozidis and lost the first set. Aris having Tzelati as a star (29 points) managed to fight till the tiebreak but it was finally unlucky. Probably the majority of Iraklis players had in their mind the Wednesday’s game against Noliko MAASEIK for a spot in the Playoffs 12 of the 2012 CEV Volleyball Champions League.
The bad news for Iraklis team is that Cuban spiker Rolando Despaigne will not play against Noliko. Rolando stayed in Thessaloniki because of mysterious last minute problem.


Panathinaikos also had a great day against the home team of Finikas in Syros and managed to grab a point. Although Panathinaikos had won the first two set Finikas succeed to win 3-2 (20-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22, 15-11) the game and remain in the fourth position of the standings.
Pamvohaikos won 3-1 (28-30, 25-16, 25-11, 25-14) over Lamia with the American diagonal Mark Dusharme scoring 19 points and Jernej Potoncnik 15. The same day Ethnikos Alexandroupolis won 3-1 (25-17, 25-20, 24-26, 25-19) the game against Kifisia.
