Almost every Polish club will start preparation in August but no one of fans, clubs presidents and widely understood experts is able to anticipate how the new season will look.

There are just a little over two months remaining to the beginning of the new season in PlusLiga. All teams have performed significant reinforcements reaching for the personal stars, spending considerable money for 3 months. However, everybody asks if the defending champion (PGE Skra Belchatow) will be dethroned, due to appearing a few strong opponents.

Skra decided to mix experience with youth signing a contract with Wytze Kooistra (ex Modena) who has to take care of strengthen their offensive formation. Besides “the Dutch tower”, Bełchatów’s activists bought also two young Serbs Konstantin Cupkovic (alternate for Bartosz Kurek) and Aleksandar Atanasijevic (successor of Ivan Miljkovic in Serbian National Team). Probably Skra, supplemented by three stranieri along with trio-stars Kurek-Wlazły-Winiarski, will be able to win Champions League.

It seems that ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle may be the most dangerous competitor for Skra. Krzysztof Stelmach’s wards would like to regain the gold medal after eight years. The president bought two French players Guillaume Samica (ex Odincovo) and Antoine Rouzier (ex Poitevin). A composition was supplemented by Serhiy Kapelus. All team looks impressive with Paweł Zagumny, Jurij Gladyr or Sebastian Śwideski.

Quite strong and at the same time unpredictable can be Resovia. They conctracted many foreign players with Lukas Tichacek at the forefront. It will be the Czech player who will ensure the regularity of play of the the whole tea. But players like Georg Grozer, Olieg Akhrem or Krzysztof Ignaczak must show their high and equal level too.

Jastrzębski Węgiel can also be great unknown. It is said that outstanding players has never been good coaches. After all, the most prominent player is working in Jastrzębie. Although activists argue that the club does not have a coach on the face of the team and brought good players. Michal Lasko, Rob Bontje, Zbigniew Bartman are famous names and one hopes that they will provide the success of the Silesian´s club.
