After the second round games Olympiakos and Ethnikos Alexandroupolis are leading the Greek Championship.

 

 

Olympiakos and KIfisia claimed straight-set victories while Iraklis Thessalonikis suffered on Saturday a home defeat 1-3 (25-16, 19-25, 23-25, 22-25) to Niki Aiginiou. This was the second lost game in a raw for Iraklis and the first win of NIki Aiginiou in Volleyleague ever. As we explained in the previous article this must be a difficult year for the last year’s champion.

PAOK dropped a point to Lamia after winning 3-2 (25-23, 28-26, 18-25, 23-25, 15-12) in Thessaloniki. For PAOK team Apostolos Armenakis scored 24 points.

Foinikas Syrou defeated Panathinaikos 3-1 (25-18, 25-27, 25-22, 25-18) having both Huberto Machacon and Takouridis in a very effective day.

Although he lost the first set Ethnikos had finally managed to win 3-1 the game against Aris in Alexandroupoli. For the local team Rafael Koumantakis scored 24 points
