The fourth day of Italian league struggling was marked by a big match between two teams, Diatec Trentino and Lube Banca Macerata, that have not felt the bitterness of failure in Serie A yet. Lube Banca save up the status quo winning out the battle, conquering Palla Trento in four-sets fight and as a results, increasing its points advantage over most dangerous opponents in the Power Ranking. The key reason of Lube’s victory toured out to be an elimination of Trentino’s major weapon, which is Tsvetan Sokolov and sky-high team attack percentage. The final spiking efficiency of Lube accounts to 58% while Trentino finished off just 44% of all attacks (Tsvetan Sokolov – 38%). The most valuable player of the last weekend may be selected a German wing-spiker Christian Fromm, who not only led his Altotevere Citta Di Castello to win over favoured Casa Modena, but he also collected impressive 30 points. Modena did a third give-away in a row.
