Volleyball weekend in Poland was full of tiebreaks. Kielce won duel in Jastrzebie 3:2, but they receive 3 points due to big mistake of Jastrzebie. Only Belchatow won in three sets.

Jastrzebski Wegiel – Fart Kielce 2:3 (25:22, 20:25, 25:12, 23:25, 12:15)
MVP: Xavier Kapfer
There is a rule in PlusLiga which limits the number of foreigners on the court at the same time to 3 players. During the tie break there has been four players without Polish nationality, so Jastrzebie lost actually 3, not 2 points. It could be even worse, because Jastrzebie was leading 2:1 (winning the third part 25:12!). It was lucky day for Fart Kielce… now they overtook Jastrzebie in ranking with 22 points.

 AZS Olsztyn – Pamapol Wielun 2:3 (25:21, 25:22, 29:31, 20:25, 10:15)
MVP: Serhiy Kapelus
The second match of “7-10” zone become really exciting and – again – unlucky for the hosts. AZS Olsztyn played with Pamapol Wielun. For AZS it was actually the lat chance to improve their position before play out. The game was going according to hosts’ plan, but than, after two parts, things changed. After a long finish of the third set, Wielun won 31:29 and Olsztyn was not able to bring their good game back. Pamapol took 2 points and AZS’ situation is really dangerous.

  Delecta Bydgoszcz – AZS Czestochowa 2:3 (22:25, 25:21, 25:22, 29:31, 14:16)
MVP: Piotr Lipinski
AZS Czestochowa was the guest Bydgoszcz. The team of Delecta is full of injured players, so they could not take part in this match with normal squad. Anyway, Grzegorz Szymanski had a good day and his team won the second and the third set – moreover, they were leading confidently in the 4th part, but than AZS won 31:29 and tie break also belonged to Czestochowa.

AZS Warszawa – Zaksa Kedzierzyn Kozle 2:3 (25:22, 22:25, 25:13, 23:25, 17:19)
MVP: Jakub Jarosz
AZS Warszawa can also blame themselves, because they were playing much better than their rivals, Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle. However, the team of Zaksa had Jakub Jarosz, who had his incredible day in attack – 35 points with 62% of efficiency. Although Warszawa was statistically better in every element, Kedzierzyn won in tie break 19:17 and the MVP could be only one.

 Skra Belchatow – Resovia Rzeszw 3:0 (25:20, 25:21, 25:21)
MVP: Daniel Plinski
Only Skra won 3:0. Asseco Resovia has a lot of problems with health of players. Ljubo Travica created main team with mostly reserve players. They could not stop Belchatow, but everyone expected a better performance between these two teams.

In summary, a common part of all games had very poor quality. Polish fans, experts and – most important – players are hoping that this kind of system will not repeat in the next season.
