After a few days of speculation, Felipe Fonteles confirmed his departure from PlusLiga. He is following Daniel Castellani to Fenerbahce Istanbul.
Zaksa’s fans are a bit preoccupied about the future of their club. They organized an event on twitter in order to try to convince “Lipe” to stay in Poland. In return, he decided to share some thoughts live via this social web, talk to people and answer their questions. Yesterday he informed that he’s leaving Zaksa to join Daniel Castellani in Turkey. He signed 1+1 contract with Fenerbahce Istanbul.
Felipe Fonteles was – without a doubt – the best transfer of PlusLiga in this last season. He was killing his rivals with the atomic service (38 aces in play offs, when the second best Atanasijevic scored 18 times in this element) and strong attack. He also added his Brazilian spirit into the team and was loved by fans all over Poland, but especially in Kedzierzyn, of course.
In the matter of week we will know about the future of some other players of Zaksa – Pawel Zagumny and Jurij Gladyr.
