VolleyCountry continues its series of spotlighting young and talented players all over the world. In this edition, we would like to present to you Yuki Ishikawa who is already making his first steps in senior volleyball with Modena Volley.
The Japanese outside hitter was born on December 11, 1995. The 19-year-old was playing for the Chuo University in his homeland last year when he got recruited by the Italian League giants Modena Volley. 2014 seems to be a lucky year for Yuki as he made his national team debut then as well. Also, Ishikawa received the match shirt number 14 at his Italian club.
Modena’s youngest player has appeared in two full games this season and performed quite impressively. He scored 14 points (1 ace, 62% in attack) versus Vero Volley Monza (away) and 11 (2 aces, 64% in attack) versus Revivre Milano at home.
