This will be the first semifinal of European Volleyball Champions League in Prague. Iskra Odintsovo will fight against Iraklis Thessaloniki for the first final spot.
Iraklis Thessaloniki is a greek champion from the last season. Everytime they “need” to win in Greece, they win! Greek champion did not lose single game in the chanpions league untill now. The biggest weapon of Iraklis is opposite M. Nilsson. Can he beat the russians by himself?

On the other side of the net will be Iskra Odintsovo. Iskra has the biggest volleyball star, the Giba. Giba has been injured for the couple of weeks and did not participate in the Russian Superleague quarterfinals. Even without Giba Odintsovo is very strong with great J. Schops, two towers in the middle A. Egorchev – A. Kuleshov and fantastic A. Verbov as libero.
