After World Grand Prix FIVB announced new ranking. We have some significant changes there, with the most important on first place. Americans are replaced by “Canarinhas”.

 

 

In Top 10 we don’t have many changes, only Turkey dropped out of 10, while Korea advanced there. The same teams are in all Top 20. The biggest jump achieves Bulgaria thanks to good performance in WGP, team advanced from 43th into 31st. The biggest drop had Turkey, from 7th into 11th and Thailand from 12th into 16th place.

– 7 teams from Europe
– 4 teams from NORCECA zone
– 4 teams from Asia
– 3 teams from South America
– 2 teams from Africa

According to ranking the best European teams are Italy, Russia, Serbia and Germany. These teams should achieve at least Quarterfinals in Euro Volley.
From Asia the best are Japan, China, Korea and Thailand, it’s obvious that they’re best there.
Top 4 from NORCECA are USA, Dominican Republic, Cuba and Puerto Rico, though especially Cuba presents not really well.
South American teams on top are Brazil, Peru, Argentina and Colombia (26th).
Best African teams are Algeria, Kenya, Egypt (23rd) and Senegal (28th).
