Serbia arrived in Cordoba, Argentina following 28 hours airtime. The team is however not concerned about the long flight and is very determined to do one better from the last World League and win their first finals.

"The long flight wasn’t that hard for us. We have enough time to get used to the facilities in Cordoba, we have to do a few good training sessions and we hope that this prepares us for the tournament. First of all we take on Brazil and then the hosts Argentina, we are going to do some analysis of the sides and we will be ready." Serbian coach Igor Kolakovic said after arriving.

Serbia has been very unlucky in the tournament having won four silvers and two bronze medals in seven editions and has fell agonisingly short in the last two finals.
