Kazakhstan was a competitive opponent only in first set. Later they committed too many errors to come back. They needed strong hitter, like was opposite Tatyana Mudritskaya. Today she and middle blocker Lyudmilla Anarbayeva didn’t play. What’s surprising, Kazakhstan had better reception, but their errors killed chances for stealing at least one set from Dutch team. Best scorer of game became dutch middle blocker Quinta Steenbergen with 11 points in account.

Cuba fought only in last set. Again they made too many mistakes, so we have the same situation like with Kazakhstan in first game. in stats there is again surprise, worse team had better recption. Depsite that reception notes aren’t really high (at least better than in Poland). Again best Cuban scorer was opposite/outside hitter Melissa Vargas, while on Brazilian side the best scorers were outside hitters: Gabriela Guimaraes and Fernanda Garay. All these players got 10 points.

From Pool K only Brazil is on the track to Final Six in Sapporo, team is now at 6th place with 17 points and should win with Kazakhstan and Netherlands easily, what gives them 23 overall. It should be enough for “Canarinhas” to book a ticket for Japan.
