The star of the Brazilian National Team (Women) Jaqueline Carvalho will play this season in Brazil.

Jaqueline signed a contract with Camponesa/Minas (Belo Horizonte) and this way she will be able to combine all of her roles-a mother, a wife and a volleyball player, without having to be away from her family.

After the 2014 FIVB World Championship Women in Italy, where Team Brazil finished on 3rd position, the 31-years old two-times Olympic Gold Champion announced that is putting an end to her professional career.  Afterwards, it appeared that the words of Jaque were  a result of emotion and the Brazilian was in search for a club in her home country. The main reason for the decision of not going abroad was her family โ€“ her husband Murillo Endres and her little son Arthur. This decision caused a lot of comments and there were even  some rumors spread that Jaqueline had an amazing offer from a Japanese club.

On the other hand, the volleyball lovers around the globe, including volleyball specialists, were afraid that the volleyball world will lose one of its shining stars. Of course, the head coach of Brazil Women’s NT โ€“Ze Roberto, was disappointed by the situation, as Jaqueline is one of the leaders in the squad. He even called the sports society to find a solution to this problem.

However, at the end of the Saga Jaque was presented officially as a player of of Camponesa/ Minas, so it wonโ€™t be necessary to be away of her family.

The good end of the story put again a smile on Jaqueโ€™s face:

โ€œI want to thank for the opportunity that the club has given to me. I hope and I feel obliged to give my best for the good of the club. The club is wonderful, and the project is very interesting. I am really happy. Itโ€™s all new to me and I am more than impatient to start playing.โ€
