In the last match of the final, Skra won over Zaksa 3:0 and got the champion title one more time. This year, the final matches brought us many great emotions.

Two first games were held in Belchatow. Quite unexpectedly, Zaksa won first duel 3:2. Competition came to Kedzierzyn Kozle, when the general result of this final was 1:1. The last two games belonged to Mariusz Wlazly, who showed his fantastic form in attack and service. Zaksa had different moments – they were playing unevenly, having both great and poor times. However, both teams were happy after the last point. For Zaksa it is a big success, because they played in three final this season – in Polish Cup, CEV Cup and in PlusLiga. They also ensure their place in the Champions League in next season. Skra achieved gold medals for the seventh time in a row. “It was the most difficult finals ever” Jacek Nawrocki said.

In the competition for the bronze medal Asseco Resovia won quickly and pretty easily. AZS Czestochowa was trying to stop their rivals, but Resovia was strongly determinate, because it was not a good season for them. They could not achieve any of these goals, so after the last winning game, the residents of Asseco informed that the contract of Ljubo Travica has come to the end. Andrzej Kowal, who was the assistant of Travica, now became a new head coach.

Now, some of the players are going on vacations, but for some of them a new challenge is waiting. Andrea Anastasi will play with Polish national team in the World League and he has chosen a quite young squad, so it is going to be really interesting months.
