Ivan Castellani is the new face of Drean Bolivar

The young opposite, Poland coach’s son is going to play in the A1 Argentina League champion, Drean Bolivar. Castellani is 19 years old, 1,98 meters tall and he is playing in the young national team in the South American championship in Chile.

His father, Daniel –the Poland National Team coach- had also coach Bolivar during four seasons (between 2002 and 2006) and he won two championships, a silver medal and a bronze medal. The specialists think that Ivan has some similar characteristics of the mythic captain of Argentina in the eighties.

Ivan will be surrounded of and experienced group of players as libero Pablo Meana, middle blocker Gabriel Arroyo, wing spiker Javier Filardi and brazilian Jean Carlo Badalotti to grow up in first level with setter Luciano De Cecco, opposite Federico Pereyra, Lucas Ocampo, Sebastian Sole, Nicolas Mendez, Juan Riganti and Franco Giachetta.

Beyond that, Castellani won the Boy`s World Champion bronze medals and the golden one in South American Championship last year. Now, he is defending the first continental place in the 2010 edition that has place in Chile.
