It keeps going on well for the capital team, Paris St. Cloud has lost so far only one set and that against Nantes VB (3-1). Great team work for Stijn Morand’s girls and an amazing scoring for the couple Fiesoli-Coolman (42 pts). The other team fighting for the leadership is Mulhouse, that seems to have found their way back to the top board, despite their difficult victory against last placed Terville Florange (3-1).

By far, the ‘sensational’ comes from the south of France, where the team that last year was saved from being downgraded – St. Raphaël managed to claim a five sets victory against French former leader – RC Cannes (3-2). It would be a pity not to mention the amazing performance of experienced Liesbet Vindevoghel, transferred late this season for St. Raphaël, as medical joker (23 points). A big question mark for this season for Yan Fang’s team, it will definitely be challenging for the club to conserve the title. RC Cannes ‘scored’ two defeats in one week, against the Serbian club Vizura Beograd in Champions League and on the court of St. Raphaël in the domestic league. Things are not working out well for Le Cannet either: three matches – three defeats, last one against Venelles on home ground.

Chamalières, the newly promoted team this season, managed to score a great victory away, on the court of Istres. Christelle Tchoudjang Nana topped scorers’ charts with 22 points for Chamalières.
