In Santo Domingo (Pool B) Serbia smashed Dominican Republic 3-0 (25-13 25-20 25-16). The same did Czech Republic with Puerto Rico 3-0 (25-14 25-20 25-18).
Dominican Republic in home didn’t have any chance to fight with Serbia. Two best scorers: Brankica Mihajlovic (OH, 22 points) and Jovana Brakocevic (OPP, 16 points) did a half of job to win, 18 points appeared from Dominicans’ errors. Best Dominican stars didn’t shine – Prisilla Rivera with 8 points and Bethania De La Cruz with only 5 points. The best Dominican scorer was opposite Gina Mambru with 9 points.
In second game Czech Republic got similar match with Puerto Rico as Serbia with host team. All sets without a history and every with 7 errors from Puertorican team. Best scorers were new czech captain Aneta Havlickova (OPP, 14) and replacement for injured Havelkova, Michaela Mlejnkova (OH, 12 points). From Puetorican players the best was Sheilla Ocasio (MB) with 13 points in account.
