The 17th match day of the women’s Greek Championship was concluded with one surprise as Iraklis Thessalonikis won OPE Rethimnon in Crete by 2-3.

On the other matches of the 17th match day, AEK, the leading team, had a very easy evening as the “yellow and black” team won 3-0 Markopoulo in just one hour. Olympiacos travelled to Thessaloniki and played against Makedones Axiou to win 0-3. Anatolia met a little resistance from Trahones in the first two sets but they had a hard time winning the 3rd set.

Another game for Iraklis Kifisias against DAS Oreokastro, the team of the north suburbs of Athens met an equal opponent against DASO, who fought hard even though it was not the favourite of the game and even though they lost by 3-0 from the host team they were admired because of their good game.
