Panathinaikos after a thrilling race managed to make 1-0 in Greek finals. Panathinaikos prevailed the opponent from Olympiakos after balanced game 3-2.

First set started great for Panathinaikos, Agamez made a series on the serve and that decided first set in favor of Panathinaikos. Also second set was in the hands of Panathinaikos and everything seemed great for them. Olympiakos did not give up and fight for every point. Good blocks, attacks of Miljkovic and ace of Tischer gave Olympiakos opportunity to win third set. Then Panathinaikos lost its middleblocker Pantaleon, which had to go to hospital after he felt physical problem in the game. Olympiakos took the chance and grabbed fourth set. Olympiakos was leading in the beginning of fifth set 6:2 but the serve of Samica brought score at 6:6. From that time Panathinaikos led in the tiebreak and ace of Agamez ended the match.
