EuroBeachVolley

EuroBeachVolley is one of the absolute top events of the year. This year is going to be hosted in Vienna just like in 2021. Last year, we enjoyed a memorable tournament in Munich, so the expectations for this year are high once again. Vienna is known as an incarnated beach volley city. In the past five years, they’ve held the 2021 EuroBeachVolley, 2017 World Championship, Beach Nations Cup, and also multiple events of the World Tour. They have all the best locations and engaged fans like nowhere else, so we’ve got some tournaments ahead of us this year. The tournament is going to take place from August 2-6, 2023.

Beach Nations Cup

Last year’s inaugural edition of the Beach Nations Cup in Vienna was a major success. The event attracted more than 30,000 fans, and the event won the Event of the Year at the CEV European Volleyball Gala 2022. So, our expectations for this year’s edition are sky-high. The tournament has been restructured since last year. There will be more countries attending, and the game will be played in more phases than last year. In each gender, the top three nations will automatically qualify for the 2023 Beach Nations Cup Final – Olympic Qualification Tournament. From there, the winners will qualify for the Paris Olympics.

Queen and King of the Court European Finals

Last year, there was another great event added to the annual beach volley calendar. The CVC decided to join forces with Dutch promoter Sportworx and the Dutch Volleyball Federation for this new event. The Queen and King of the Court European Finals held their inaugural edition last year in Utrecht. It was nothing short of a success with all the best players giving it everything they had. The excitement of last year has given us great expectations for this year’s edition. The details for this year’s tournament still haven’t been released – but we’re looking forward to it.
